Assessment booklets to cover PSD Personal Safety in the Home and Community learning objectives and assessment criteria. These were used for the ASDAN PSD qualification however ASDAN were not involved in the creation of the booklets. In addition, the bundle contains lesson activities to support the delivery of the unit. These are included in a powerpoint and contain short discussion points and activities: • Lesson -Staying safe in the home • Lesson -Staying safe in the community – includes railway and water safety • Lesson -Staying safe online • Staying safe discussion scenarios These lessons have been used in both a KS3/4 SEND provision and also a Post 16 SEND provision. These lessons filled 6 weeks of 1 lesson of 1 hour per week.

This work booklet was originally used in a Post 16 SEND setting with learners following a Horticulture project. It contains simple information fact sheets about pumpkins, strawberries, tomatoes, garlic, onions and broad beans with an activity to accompany each one. It also has a wordsearch and key words to put into alphabetical order, a labelling things needed for planting and some simple instructions for growing tomatoes, broad beans and onions.

Rhyming Sensory Poem/Story on the theme of Spring The activities in this unit of work are interactive and promote learners’ understanding of spring through sensory and communication activities. The resources contain some real photographs so are appropriate for learners of older ages but can equally be used with younger children. Some are illustrations, but I believe could still be used with older age groups. All the activities are easy to deliver and simple to resource. They will not require extensive looking for equipment/items as most are in cupboards and around homes. Unit Contents Sensory Story in WORD and Powerpoint format. The powerpoint includes picture slides. Photo pack in PDF format using the images from the powerpoint. A unit booklet designed to meet the learning outcomes and assessment criteria of the unit. It contains suggested tasks as well as blank witness statement and photo annotation sheets. At the end is a feedback form along with assessment for learning emojis on each page of the resources. Although the unit covers the assessment criteria for the unit, Gateway Qualifications have not been involved in the design or production of the booklets.
